The next DAC event is the Speakers Series and Halloween party on Saturday, October 28, 2017, running from 10AM to 2PM (giving you plenty of time for your planned Halloween party plans that night). Happening at the Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel, 900 South Disneyland Drive, Anaheim, CA 92802 just north of the Disneyland Resort. Tickets are $25. each, which includes Our Speakers Series Presentation, Costume Contest, Holiday desserts, treats and edible surprises along with Coffee, Tea and Water.

Mark started at Walt Disney Productions in the mailroom, the classic beginning for the film business. He quickly moved into the Animation Department, then the Editorial Department where he was named Post-Production Supervisor for the EPCOT Center project. After EPCOT, WED Enterprises executives Randy Bright and Marty Sklar asked Mark to become production manager on film-related projects for Disney’s theme parks. Within a year Mark was named the company’s first ever show producer for World Premiere Circle-vision project at Disneyland, that included the Circle-vision 360 film “American Journeys” and “All Because Man Wanted to Fly.” In attractions at Disney’s theme parks Mark was part of the development team and one of the producers of the original groundbreaking attraction “Star Tours.” Other projects included the Living Seas Pavilion, the Wonders of Life Pavilion, the Great Movie Ride, “Muppet*Vision 3D”, “From Time to Time” for Disneyland Paris, Golden Dream sequence of EPCOT Center’s American Adventure and “Honey, I Shrunk the Audience”. Outside Disney, Mark worked on “EFX” for the MGM Grand, development of T2-3D for Universal Studios, and “Marvin the Martian in the Third Dimension,” for Warner Bros. theme parks. Mark decided to switch careers in 1997 and go into journalism, starting at the Orange County News channel, Orange County Register and other Orange County publications. Mark was the Register's first multi-media reporter.
