Tommorow First Lady Barbara Bush will be laid to rest. 30 years ago, unannounced to the public she and her husband came to Disneyland to launch the American Olympic Team. I worked in the Parade dept so we were told the night before. I took the day off to witness it and I snapped these two pictures of Barbara Bush and her husband, at the time was Vice-President but running for President that November and he won. Next week the Department of Communications at Cal State Fullerton will host several Disney-related speakers during its annual Communications Week event. Former Disney Imagineer Mark Eades (4/23, 7:00 p.m.), "Ink and Paint" author Mindy Johnson (4/25, 7:00 p.m.), and Disneyland spokesperson Suzi Brown (4/26, 2:30 p.m.) will be speaking on campus.
