• The Club was created as an employment benefit to provide a transitional avenue from working at the “Happiest Place on Earth” to life “outside the berm.” Additionally, the Club was meant to be a resource for Cast Members to stay in touch with one another, share history, experiences, life skills, talents, and knowledge.
• When it was christened, the Club was a Disneyland corporate responsibility, and membership was free. Back then, the Club's roster existed as a mailing list in Van’s desk. Needless to say, things have changed significantly since then.
• With no one within Disney to champion the Club, we have become a self-supporting organization with our own elected Board of Directors. As a result of the Club no longer being Company-sponsored, annual membership dues are necessary to help cover Club expenses. An annual financial summary is available.
