A short time soon, in a screening room near you....
There has been a tremor in the screening universe. The Disneyland Alumni Club has secured the rights to a screening of "Rogue One - A Star Wars Story" the night before the movie is released to the general public.
The screening will take place the evening of Thursday, December 15, 2016. You can line up as early as 6 pm, doors will open at 6:30 pm, and the event will start at 7 pm. Word has reached the Rebellion that there might be a few items from the Star Wars universe that could be given away to a few lucky attendees.
The movie tells the story of how rebel spies were able to obtain the plans for the Death Star, just prior to the events that took place in "Star Wars Episode IV, A New Hope."
In order to attend the screening, members must purchase their tickets now. They have two options, either mail a check, or pay via PayPal.
The force has dictated the members or their guests price to be $25. Two weeks hence, if there are seats remaining, they will be offered to the general public for $35.
Rebel Spies have secured the location of the screening at: Century Stadium 25 Theaters, located at 1701 W. Katella Avenue, Orange, CA. According to the galactic coordinates, this is just east of the Honda Center off the 57 Freeway.
The Rebellion has dictated these ways to purchase tickets:
• Purchase tickets by check ($25 per member, or member guest) mailed to The Disneyland Alumni Club, P.O. Box 17280, Anaheim, CA 92817. Please mail by Dec. 7, 2016.
• Buy advance tickets from the Merchandise Store on our web site using a credit card and PayPal (login may be required – this is in the “Members Only” section), at: http://disneylandalumni.org/shop/.
We are offering the second option using PayPal as a payment selection again, something we haven’t done for a while due to some technical problems. We think we’ve fixed those problems. Don’t worry – the issues we faced did not threaten anyone’s personal information.
Please also note: you are not required to have a PayPal account in order to pay for your tickets by PayPal. They take credit cards without opening a PayPal account, just like any other on-line merchant (see the picture below).
May the Force be with you.
